What is the difference between Regular and Deep Cleaning?
Regular Cleaning focuses on maintaining cleanliness with basic tasks like dusting and vacuuming. Deep Cleaning goes further, targeting hard-to-reach areas like baseboards, inside appliances, and light fixtures, providing a more thorough clean.
Are your commercial cleaning services customizable?
Absolutely. We understand that every business has unique needs, so we offer customizable cleaning plans. We can work with you to create a cleaning schedule and service plan that fits your specific requirements, including frequency and scope of cleaning tasks.
How do I schedule a cleaning service?
You can request a free estimate by calling us or through our website. Once you reach out, we’ll contact you to schedule a visit to your home. During this visit, we’ll assess your cleaning needs, discuss pricing, and, if you’re satisfied, schedule your cleaning service at a time that works best for you. This ensures that we fully understand your requirements before we begin.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Cumming, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Milton, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Marietta and others. If you’re unsure whether we service your location, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist.
What should I do to prepare for a Move-In/Out Cleaning?
Before we begin a Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, please ensure the home is completely empty. This allows us to provide the most comprehensive clean possible, preparing the space for the next resident or for you to move in.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning service?
No, you do not need to be home during the cleaning service. Many of our clients prefer to provide access to their homes through a key, security code, or other arrangements. We are fully licensed and insured, ensuring your home is in safe hands.
Will I have the same cleaner each visit?
We strive to assign the same cleaner to your home for each visit, as we believe consistency is key to delivering high-quality service. However, in cases of illness, vacation, or scheduling conflicts, we may need to send a different cleaner. Rest assured, all our cleaners are trained to the same high standards, so you will always receive excellent service.
Who provides the house cleaning equipment?
We provide all the necessary equipment and cleaning products to ensure your home is thoroughly cleaned. However, if you prefer that we use specific products, we are happy to accommodate your request as long as they are appropriate for the job. For hygiene reasons and to avoid cross-contamination between clients, we recommend that you provide your own sponges and toilet brushes.
Can I have my pets at home during the cleaning service?
Absolutely! We are a pet-friendly cleaning service and are happy to work around your furry friends. However, to ensure their safety and to prevent them from licking any cleaning products—especially when we’re cleaning the floors—or marking the wet areas, we recommend that your pet stays in a designated area until everything is dry. This helps keep them safe and ensures your home stays clean and tidy.
How do you handle cancellations or rescheduling?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and online payments. Payment is typically due at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made.
Is Mermaid Cleaning Services licensed and insured?
Yes, Mermaid Cleaning Services is fully licensed and insured. We take the safety and security of your home seriously, and our insurance provides peace of mind for our clients.
